Macbook Pro or Windows Laptop ?
I am currently wondering about what should I get as a laptop. I've look up to some websites to help me find what would be better for me but I'm still not sure. If I go for a Windows laptop, I might go for a HP or a Toshiba.My price range is between 800$ to 1600$.
I will use the laptop for gaming, work for school, internet, youtube things like that.
Can someone guide me for my choice ?

Chances are Macs won't have your favorite games.
If you want it for gaming, MacBook Pro. and even that wont play games well if you play ones that require extreme graphics and speed. For the basics like school and internet, windows will do fine. Keep in mind that if your school is PC and you get a Mac its a real pain to always convert documents. and note that they don't convert the same. (you will still have to make adjustments)
If your school is PC: Get a PC.
If your school is Mac: Get a Mac.
And if you get a pc, don't get a toshiba or hp. Dell is right up there with apple and the best in the PC world at the moment, and growing fast. If you want your computer to last, get a Dell. Dell's are also consistent in speed and performance. (Toshibas slow down after usage. HP's do this too, but not as quickly, but they still do. Macs don't slow down for years.)
I would also keep in mind that the operating systems are completely different. Chances are if your school runs PC its still running Windows 7. 99% of PC's are now sold with Windows 8. Im less familiar with Mac in schools so I can't say much about that. Although I know of many collages who use Mac for video and photo editing.
