Mario multiplayer games?
Is there any Mario multiplayer game that allows at least four players and allows each or to be a different colored “toad,” or mushroom type thing, at once?

That is a good question, because I think of the Nintendo Land attraction, Mario Chase. I can also relate it to New Super Mario Bros. Wii
New Super Mario Bros. Wii allows for four players, with one as Mario, one as Luigi, one as Blue Toad and one as Yellow Toad. It's the same for New Super Mario Bros. U on the Wii U.
No, usually in multiplayer one person has to be Mario.
