just downloaded Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007. and does that software have a photo edit? if not wat is a good place to do those.

All versions of Word have limited graphics editing capabilities. You can crop and size pictures but not much more.
To do real editing of images you need a graphics editor. A free one is GIMP
