As I haven't tried either my only suggestion is to rent them once there released. Ask the question again a bit closer to release because by then we may have played a demo or a few reviews might be around.

For the time being, try Midnight Club 3 and Motorstorm and see which you prefer. That may help towards your future purchase :D

Burnout Paradise, that game is great and really fun online, you can do challenges together as a big group or join someone elses, races and freeroam around the city in cars & bike you unlock in the single player mode with other members and crash into them etc. Its still being supported well into 2009 by its developers Criterion even though it was released in Jan 08 with fresh new downloadable add-ons some are even free like the introduction of bikes & night time if your online with your console but its still got lots to do if your not, i bought it a few months back at havent stopped playing it since, graphics and gameplay are great NFS Undercovers is much the same as older NFS versions like Most Wanted but its not as good and gets old quick Midnight Club is ok bit like Burnout & NFS rolled into one Havent played the others but Motor Storm look pretty good and has great graphics from what ive seen, SBK 08 unless you really into & love superbikes, its gonna get repetative real quick same as Moto GP 08 Go for Burnout or Midnight both great games whatever you choose, thats my view on each game anyway

Motorstorm pacific rift it is gonna be different than the L.A in a good way changing up the racer to outdoor pcific type it is gonna be better trust me

You should get Motorstorm 2!
