music transfer. please help!?

i have an ipod touch, and the screen went completely black.. but if i connect it to my itunes, all my music still comes up (phew). ive been trying all day to back up my songs from my ipod onto a different computer(my computer with my songs on it crashed..) ive been very frustrated with the fact that everytime i download something, it downloads 10 songs and i have to buy a 30 dollar program that im going to use once. is there any music transfer out there i can download that will download all my songs 100% free? i have 1047 songs and i really dont want to have to rebuild a whole new library.. please help!

I know iDump is free. It's a pitty that it does not support iPod Touch.
