My betta has an external parasite, help!?

I have emailed a person on here about this white lump on my betta. Then I looked up external parasites in fish on google images and 1 picture has something very similar to what is on my betta.

I really want to be able to get something from a petstore, but the person I was emailing said the store-bought meds dont usually work and that I would need to order online, but I would be hard for me to order something online. What can I do?

I need all the help I can get.

Update:

If anyone needs to know, then he acts healthy and happy. Everything about him is healthy besides the white bump on him, and he has a bacterial fin rot (his tail is a little stringy and jagged). Everything else is fine. Eyes are fine, color is fine, he is very active, he is always waiting for food, poops (I do not see him, but I see poop before the filter and bacteria gets it), etc.

Update 3:

Straight up- So you think I am "barely" going to do anything about it? Who said that? No one. When I have asked people said "it should be fine" and "its an ovipositer, they are common in young males" so from those answers, I was thinking it was ok. Well those were a month ago. Then I saw a picture of an ovipositer and then I got worried. When I first saw it I looked it up on the internet (yahoo), and nothing. Now, I have found out it is an external parasite so now I am asking what to do. I actually care for my betta and want to help, so what do you think I am doing?
