My compaq laptop suddenly goes dim?
Last day it was working fine but when i started today its become very dim. Very diffcult to see icons.please advice me.what i wil do? My laptop is 3 years old ,it operates only when AC is on..thank u

most laptops have brightness remembered by BIOS
it remembers for BATTERY power
and for Power Supply power
check the BIOS max/min brightness and adjust it if you can.
also be aware your POWER SCHEME settings affect what brightness you get
