my computer won't recognize a plug + play usb device!?
i have windows xp and it is supposed to be plug and play. but it isn't. even worst, none of the drivers on the cd support windows xp, BECAUSE it's plug and play. how do i make the computer recognize it?
ps. it's an external hard drive.

you would have to install the software that came with the external harddrive first then restart your computer during restart insert usb cable with your device attached,this sholud take care of your problem.
