Making noises? That's never good.
The sudden complete shutdown sounds like it's over-heating. Try cleaning out the dust from the vents and make sure there is nothing blocking the fan. Don't pile too many things on the tower (if it's a desktop) as they retain heat. If it's a laptop, don't set it on bedding or a fabric cushion which can also block the heat vents. The noises could be the built-in cooling fan struggling or a hard drive whining from the high heat. I used to keep one side of my tower's case off at all times and pointed a small desktop fan at it when I had similar issues.
you may have too many files on your computer ( too much memory is being used ) try deleting some of your large-file programs such in your control panel. You cannot play 2 mmporgs on the same computer without extra memory being bought, so try deleting anything that is not essential and over 200 mb and it should work.
Whats your power supply. should be at least 550 watts for graphics cards etc.
