my hamster has cataracts?
i noticed that my hamster had a small white dot in the centre of its eye. my sister who is training to be a vet said that it probably is cataracts but was not sure because she said the eye usually goes cloudy instead of having a dot. If it is cataracts i know that means she is going blind in that eye. i want to make sure it is cataracts and to know if she is in pain and will it spread to her other eye. if she does go completely blind will she still live a happy and healthy life.

cataracts are not painful. her vision is just blurry.
she can live a happy life in her familiar surroundings.
If your sister is training to be a vet, she's a better resource than a bunch of randompeople on YA!
