It actually made maplestory lag.

I would plug it in and it would make a lag spike type of thing every 1 - 2 seconds that would last 1 second, and that would continue for ages.

Idk why its happening or how but i know its the cause.

I unplugged it and that prblem went completely away

plugged it back in 2 minutes later and the problem returned immediatly.

Either thats coincidence or proof
