my previous employer has yet to mail my paycheck.?
Its been over a month since my last day of work. I have been in contact with them numberous times and each time they say they will attempt to mail it again. Although my last message received said they have only tried twice. I am in a different city now and have no way of obtaining the check except through the mail. I barely made rent without the money...isn't there anything i can do but sit around and wait?!
Update:I am currently working but needed the money from before i moved to pay my bills. I don't know what to do.

By law, the company had to provide, or mail, your check on your next regularly scheduled pay day.
If they did not, then you need to call your state's department of labor and file a formal complaint.
Why are you no longer working there? Let go/downsized? Sounds like the company won't be around much longer.

In the meantime, take a second or third job to keep a roof over you head.
You have to call your last job and speak to the manager about you check.
