Speakers who later became Vice-President were Schuyler Colfax (Grant's first VP 1869-73) and John Nance Garner (FDR's 1st VP from 1933 - 41).

I guess I am the only one who would love to see what that would look like. If the Republicans manage to get some nut job to eliminate both President Obama and Vice-President Biden when Pelosi would be sworn in they would get every thing they have shown they deserve, namely exactly what they have dished out for 12 years. I Do Not want anything to happen to either Obama or Biden but I would LOVE to see that payback.

Pelosi is a coward. She is hated by conservatives. She is even hated by her own kind, the liberals. Obviously, if she were president, nothing would get done, as nothing ever does under a liberal president.

About your other question, ill have to look up Speakers becoming president. I dont know about that one.

I'm a liberal and I've lived in Ms. Pelosi's district in the past...but I cannot say I'm quite convinced she's make a good President. But then, I felt the same way about George W. Bush, and look what we got - eight fuggin' years of disaster! Would Mizz Nancy do any better? I'm not convinced she would...

UGH, I gaged on that one. She is part of the mafia and is a liar worse then Obama, has a really big mouth, and a huge hypocrite. BTW, right now congress does NOT have a very good approval rating and that certainly says a lot about Pelosi.

She would get killed in the national election by any half wit republican. It was like the last Pres. election, any democrats except for one like Gore. With her running, just about any rep would win.
