Naval Piercing :O Question?
Alright. So...
this isn't really a survey but just a random opinion kinda thing =]
I'm piercing my naval in February, but I'm not sure of the reactions I would get.
I was planning on not telling people unless asked or if they found out, and I don't know how people would look at me or if their opinions on me will change. I've been classified as the "Girl who spends more time on getting good grades than on friends =/
Oh yeah. I really don't want some 60 year old dudes approaching me err something.
So....if you have a naval piercing, have you ever been approached, or should I expect it to happen?

Piercings are a lot more common now a days compared to the 90's, so I don't think you will get any weird looks. Men in their 60's will probably think it's gross though because their from a different era.
I don't think opinions would change about you. Your friends might be shocked since youre the one who gets good grades. But what's wrong with brains and expressing yourself...nothing at all right?
If you want to do it and your parents approve go for it. I had mine done and trust me it will take months to heal. If I had a choice to do it again would I? Probably not. It's too much maintanence. But that's the only negative I have to say about it.
Be who you want to be! I'm sure your belly looks cute with or without a piercing. :o)
Uh, you're looking way too much into this piercing. For one thing, it's just a belly button. They're so common these days guys are hardly even going to take a second look. No one is going to think any differently of you and I REALLY doubt 60 year old men are going to approach you because of a piercing, let's be realistic here.. Why would they care if you have a piece of jewelery in your belly button?
If people do judge you on it, who cares? if you want it, go get it. The reactions are usually the same, it gets a little bit infected when you get it done, but you look after it and clean it and it will be good as gold. And i highly doubt a 60 year old guy would approach you about it, how would he even see it? Ive been on the beach a million times with mine and not one person has approached me, young or old, so relax.
It sounds popular therapeutic procedure to me. Itching is solid with wounds, it potential the therapeutic procedure has began. shop on your washes with anti bacterial cleansing soap, non scented, with a impartial Ph and merely enable your body do its interest and heal it. continually wash your palms previously washing the piercing for sure and do not contact it for the different reason than cleansing it. solid luck.
I think they are nice, but saying that, I got mine done and it got infected and it got ripped out, so now i have a really gross scar there :( but I shouldnt imagine that people would treat you different because of it, and if they do then that is pathetic :) x
