My sister and I are total opposites. Not just saying that. She has already "put herself out there", if you know what I mean. Other than me totally hating her, different story, I'm not comfortable being "like her."Not in all those ways, but, you know, making friends, going out for plays, etc. I'd go out for plays and gradually try it, but I'm terrified of auditioning. Even if I got over it, my parents keep saying I HAVE TO act. I DO NOT want to do any of that. I'm really scared. They won't give. I can't talk them out of it. All they do is yell at me and I end up running into my room and practically crying.
Basically, I need someone that was like me to tell me it would be a good idea, that they were like me and not so good with people, but it would be good for me. Please no mean comments. I just want genuine advice.

You probably should have proof read that, I have no idea what you are like. What I got out of that is that your sister acts in plays and your parents want you to as well, even though you hate it. So, what do you like to do? From the original question, you mentioned sports, care to elaborate on that?
Have a sit down with your school's drama teacher and get an honest opinion of your talents. If your teacher feels acting isn't for you then speak with your school counselor to find another direction to move your life in. Your parents sound like they are hoping you will make it big in Hollywood so they can quit their jobs. There are thousands of people out there who want the same dream and your heart doesn't seem to be in it. Perhaps your counselor can help break the news to your parents.
Sports ARE extracurricular activities. FYI. If you don't want to, then tell them what you just put here, or get some help from your relatives.
