I going to new york to see les miserables, and I wanted to know if there are any interesting restaurants worth visiting, such as Jeckyll and Hyde or Mars 2112, something fun and kid friendly, like those.
Thanks!

Burger King, is a very interesting restaurant as a matter of fact, a very memorable restaurant. Enjoy! :)
St Mark's Place and 72nd Street are too far from the theatre district. On the same block of the Broadhurst Theatre on 44th Street and Eighth Avenue (I think that's where Les Mis is now) is one of New York's best pizza places - John's is a huge place in a building with beautiful stained glass windows that used to be a church . There is food other than pizza and some really good desserts to be had there. It's fun for kids and you'll be right near the theatre. (can get very, very crowded, but service is prompt)

Jeckyll and Hyde is fun for kids, but the food is overpriced and terrible and the cleanliness of the bathrooms really leaves a lot to be desired.
Oh Taisho, a Japanese restaurant on St. Marks/ 8 St. (btw 2 & 3 Ave)
Joe ALLEN'S MIGHT HAVE CELEBRITIES DINING THERE AFTER THE PLAY LETS OUT AROUND 10-10:30 P.M.!
Also, Orso's and Elaine's might have some as well!
Serendipty's for good desserts and ice-cream!
enjoy!
Sambucca It's not quirky or unusual, but the food is great and there's lots of it.
