No, but here's a golden oldie:-

Put about an inch of sherry in a soup bowl, a beaten egg in another, and a mixture of icing sugar and cinnamon in another.

Get your deep fryer fired up, and cut rounds out of the sliced bread.

Turn them very quickly in the sherry, then in the egg; fry till golden and turn them in the sugar/cinnamon mixture.

Serve pronto, they're not so nice cold.
