Ok here is what i think you should do. On the back of the ds there is a battery pack that you need to unscrew like 3 screws to get to. take the battery out. turn on the ds but nothing will happen now put the battery back into the ds screw up the hole and turn it on it should work then.

You could go to a local gamestop and see what they have to say or you could call the nintendo helpline. If the warrenty is still intact you may be able to get a new one

take the card out and blow inside where the card goes that will clean what ever is messing it up
