I have an issue. I have went to the nintendowifi.com website and it didn't help me at ALL. I went through each step, and nothing seems to be working out for me. I really would like to get Wifi on my DS. I have the wireless router and it has internet. No one around here knows how to do it. I would appreciate someone to maybe give me a compleat step by step walkthrough, detailed, so that I can finally use wifi with my game.
I'm new at this whole thing, so I'm sort of clueless when it comes to this type of stuff.
Please and Thank you.

Nintendo DS will only work on WEP-protected wireless networks, not WPA or WPA2. To see if it's the security settings that is causing the problems, change your router to have no protection (temporarily) by turning off all security. It will then show as an open network (with an unlocked lock) on your DS.
If it connects that way, then the protection is causing the problems. Unfortunately WPA is more secure than WEP, but you could change the system to WEP so you can play on your DS's wi-fi. Otherwise, do what I do and carry your DS around and download new content when you are in an area with open wi-fi.
I connected WiFi before, but still have problems, and online gaming with the DS is not the greatest you can imagine, comparing to like ps2 and xbox.
Now if you have a wireless router like you mention and it works fine like having a laptop connecting to it and working, then so should your DS. You dont need the WiFi Connector sold in store by Nintendo to connect if you have a Wireless Router. This I have proven cause i managed to connect while the WiFi Connector was not plug in. My best opinion is to keep toying with the Router and make sure no firewalls are blocking your DS connection.
