Nintendo Wii usb flash drive problem?
So i plugged my portable USB flash drive into the back of the Wii and nothing happened. I am trying to watch movies on my wii by plugging in my usb flash drive. Any ideas? My unit is new and i've never used either of the two ports on the back.

You can only watch movies like that if your wii's modded...
secondly, what type of media is it? Most, but not all media is compatible with MPlayer_c, Gexbox and Wiimc.
Thridly, only one usb port will work with HDD's. The one on the left if it's standing up and the bottom one if you have if lying down.
Lastly, I don't know what the HDD's are formatted to when they come out of the box, but I recommend fat32 ;)
