no audio on my computer?!?
okay, well i had to add/remove some programs to free some space on my computer. i put it so it would show me which programs took up the most room and one of them was this audio thing. so i thought that if i deleted it it would be all better.
i was wrong hahah.
it wont let me play music on itunes annnd it is telling me to reinstall it. but then i would loose all of my music!!! i also cant hear any volume through my speakers [when watching videos like on youtube]
so my question is:
HOW CAN I DOWNLOAD THE AUDIO THING AGAIN?

just reinstall the sound drivers... you must have received a CD of all the supported drivers for the hw on the motherboard.
just run this CD when it asks for reinstall drivers and give its path....
or simply run the cd it will automatically install the required drivers. mail me at [email protected] for any help
or you need to tell me make and mode of your sound card or if it is a onboard chip then.... make and model of the motherboard
you can try Real AC97 drivers it is free and download from download.cnet.com and see whether they work or not.
