where can I find info on profit records (i.e. how much they've made in past year) for the top oil companies in America (including Exxon, BP, etc)?
Update:this is for a graduation project, so i cant use wikipedia!!!
and i already googled it - too many results.

Go to Yahoo Finance and input the stock symbol of the company in the box located at the top left corner entitled "get quotes." For example, "XOM" for Exxon. You will be taken to the page which gives information on stock's fundamental analysis. On the left colume, you will see various captions for the financial information. Click "Key Statistics" which will take you to the most recent income information toward the bottom half of the page, usually a quarterly financial data. In order to find out annual data, click "Income Statement" caption located at the left column on the Key Statistics page, which will take you to the annual income statement of the company where you can arrive at the profit records of Exxon.
There are various sites which could give you similar information such as the website of your brokerage firm. But I use Yahoo Finance frequently to get general financial info on public companies.
