We have a 1980's decade project presentation in my US History class, and I'm bringing in cookies that look like the characters from the Pac-Man game (since Pac-Man was popular in the 80's). Not sure what flavor cookies I should make though :P I don't really want to make just plain sugar cookies. Should I make chocolate cookies, or should I make lemon cookies (if I made lemon I'd have to go out and buy a lemon or lemon extract), or some other flavor like almond flavored, or something else? What flavor do you think would be best for my 80's theme Pac-Man cookies?
Update:I'm just looking for flavor suggestions people!

I think lemon flavored sounds perfect. Something with a little tart and tang goes perfectly with the theme of the cookie.
I think you should do sugar cookies, but make a lemon frosting for the top! those are delicious! I make the frosting with powdered sugar and a little lemon extract! SO GOOD! or you could just do lemon cookies too cause those are really good too! just and some food coloring into the dough to make them whatever color you want to make the packmans...or ghosts! hope this helps!
I did this last year for father's day. My dad loved them! We used plain sugar cookies, but used colored dye. They make a roll-in kind that you put in a plastic bag and knead, and that worked really well to make a vibrant color.
We used these cookie cutters: http://www.amazon.com/Suck-UK-Pac-Cookie-Cutters/d...
Well, maybe you could make them all chocolate chip then add frosting and other things to make them look like them.
