A parallel-plate capacitor has an area of 5.30 cm^2 and the plates are separated by 0.600 mm. The capacitor stores a charge of 363.0 pC. What is the potential difference across the plates of the capacitor? The permittivity of a vacuum is 8.8542 × 10−12 C^2/N · m^2
.
Answer in units of V
The answer should be (Q*d)/(Epsilon*A) from Q=CV, and the fact that C = (Epsilon*A)/d
this answer doesn't work with the values given. Is there something I'm missing here? Like do I need to double the area since there are two plates? (There is no pic btw)
Update:I still have not found the issue. Please I need help before an hour passes!

What do you mean by "doesn't work"? The formula looks correct to me.
EDIT:
You're off by a factor of 100 somewhere. Ah, the area.
5.3cm^2 is not 0.053m^2. It's 0.00053m^2
