i want to buy this plasma, but im afraid of these rumors that if a plasma TV is shipped on its side or if it is rotated upside down or layed flat, then it will incur some kind of damage...can anyone confirm or dispell this rumor and back it up with a refrence? you guys rock

For the LAST 4 years, I have put plasmas in my truck with it standing UP and laying DOWN....
AND NONE have ever failed due to the position I chose....
The key to transporting it is to PROTECT the Glass.....
No heavy objects rolling around in the back with it.....
Double Quilted for transport....
IF stood up, it should be Strapped to the side of the vehicle and a Quiilt/pad used to reduce ROCKING against the wall....
That's why laying it down, with the glass UP is much better on the TV set....no banging around.....
