Im 23 weeks pregnant and have been getting this sensation on and off for about 2 weeks now, it almost feels like when your foot falls asleep... its under the right breast only and it feels like its vertical line about 6 inches long length wise (and 2 or 3 inches wide) directly in the middle (align with the nipple) under the actual breast where this sensation occurs.I don't have it every day but i have noticed that i usually am standing when it happens. It isn't painful just kind of a tingling numbing sensation. Could this be from milk glands? Im going to ask my doctor about it next week when i go but just wondering if anyone knows what it could be?
*** I haven't started lactating (producing milk) yet... could this sensation be the beginning of that process?***

its not the beginning of the milk forming process cuz i've been getting milk for a couple months now and i just started a few weeks ago getting that numbing feeling except mines under my left breast. I go to the doctor today and i'll be sure to ask about it. feel free to email me later and i'll update you on what it could be.
I had the same thing through my pregnancy! It was a really weird feeling. People use to tell me it was heartburn but it wasn't, it wasn't on the inside, it was a tingling feeling on the outside. It wasn't painful so when my ob appt came around i always forgot to ask about it. I thought it might have been a feeling associated with my skin !stretching.
