How do you drive? If you accelerate very fast and going with 80mph, or every stop you try to speed up very fast, hurts your mileage. IF not, then something is wrong. On Edmund's.com there is a forum tab, navigate to your car and there is going to be a discussion on the mpg in real numbers by real people.. Look there, maybe it's not only you who is getting much less per gallon..
Do you have those flags connected to the doors with a team mascot. Those things drastically drop fuel economy.
Or, you could be using the A/C full blast which also lowers fuel economy.
Good Luck
i wouldn't trust the dealer. they just want to make money and they want you to keep your car so of course they tell you its perfect.
you should be getting way more MPG than 29. i drive a 1999 chevy cavalier and i get 32 MPG. i would definately take your car somewhere else especially since gas prices are so awful right now.
maybe a tune up would get you back up there i get about 12 mpg 29 would be awesome
Well it can be the Gas station cheating your fill ups... it can be the gas you bought... or it can be the truth of the Yaris
air filter, fuel filter, a bottle of fuel treatment,a tune up, use a better gas
