The prenatal class me and my wife are trying to get into hasnt contacted us yet and the class starts this Wednesday we have already tryed contacting them on many occasions and the nurse just says call back if you don't hear from them tommorow, so tommorow comes and still no call so we call again and they keep telling us to wait the next day and the next day etc.... My question is ... how do we know if we got into the class or not? Should we just show up and hope for the best?

Unless this is the only possible class you can get into, I suggest forgetting about this class and finding another! Do you really want to get such important information from people who don't even care enough to return your phone calls? Typically even towns that aren't very big have several options for prenatal classes. They can be offered by hospitals or birthing centers, or sometimes by organizations like the YWCA or other religious organizations. You can also look for specific classes for different birthing techniques such as Lamaze, Bradley Method, or Hypnobirthing. All of these classes should give you the basic information you need before you head for the delivery room.
Try asking other parents in your area where they took classes, and don't be afraid to widen your search! When my husband and I were expecting, we drove an hour away to get to our birthing classes because we wanted a Hypnobirthing practitioner, but I know classes were also offered at several local places. You have options, you shouldn't let yourself be marginalized or pushed around by people who don't want to teach you. Good luck!
Ring them again and if they say call back, tell them you have done, a number of times and all you want to know is if you got a place in the class. It would only take them 2seconds to check for you! :)
