i want to cut down expenses so i need to maybe get a land line and a cell for emergencies.

and get rid of my regular cell phone rates. i use about 900 min per month.. do trying to figure what is best.. land line and emergency use only cell OR some kind of pre paid or pay as you go cell and NO land line any advice?
