I am not outraged about having a black president and I have not heard anyone in my life circle voice any concern about that issue either. People have been buying guns because the democrats are always trying to make stricter gun laws and there is an international effort to disarm all citizens. Nobody knows if his policies will work or not. All I know is that he is planning on adding at least $4 trillion to the deficit. Even if he spares us the ill effects of a depression, it is only putting off the inevitable because our economy will still be based on borrowed or non-backed printed money. Skyrocketing inflation is in our near future. Get what you need now.

He is just a President Elect. He is not far left. He has no real agenda. He is however very smart. Yeah, Archie Bunkers are all over the place. I like Obama but I know damn well that he is going to work the center. I'm from the south and think that color doesn't matter...what matters is someone being there for the people...normal people not the rich and greedy and someone who knows what they are doing and honest...only time will tell if he's the right one or not...for everyones sake I hope so! Gun sells went up b/c he wants to make it where its hard to get guns and being from the south we love guns just mainly for target shooting and clay shooting so everyone is buying guns you can't hardy get one around here anymore.

I am proud of my country that we voted in by a clear majority a wonderful man like Obama. Yes there are those ignorant people who are in the red states, southerners that are filled with nothing but hate.
