What is a good web site to read about each nominee and what policies they support? I just want to get a non biased view of the candidates.

Well, since they are both Senators, try googling each by name and adding the search criteria of "voting record".
Votesmart.com has all of that information.
A candidate can SAY whatever they want, but their voting record shows what they have DONE, and will likely do again.
