para las fechas es dividirlas en dos numeros - por ejemplo 1958 es nineteen - fifty eight. (19 .... 58)

Como has apuntado l800 o 1900 no tiene dos numeros por lo tanto decimos eighteen hundred (1800) y nineteen hundred (1900). Los 1901 y 1902 tambien son problematicos.

Decimos nineteen ... oh .... one (1901) y nineteen ... oh ... two (1902).

Los años 2000 serán interesante .. de momento decimos "two thousand and eight" (2008) pero como todos los ingleses sabemos una fecha de nuestra historia 1066 se dice (ten ... sixty six) y no (one thousand and sixty six) ..tal vez el año 2000 acabará diciendose (twenty hundred.

Cuando en inglés dices un numero refiriéndote a un año en especifico divides en grupos de dos dígitos, o sea que en el caso de : 1958

Para los años 1000 al 1009- 2000 al 2009 no se dividen y se dicen completos

Ejemplo:

Después del 1009 o 2009 por ejemplo el numero siguiente a estos 1010 o 2010 ya tendrán que ser divididos por ejemplo:

1010- Ten / ten

2010 - Twenty / ten
