I just bought a raidmax smilodon case. In checked the reviews at newegg at they say that the stock power supply is junk. To throw it away an buy a new one. My new system configuration:
MSI P6N SLI mobo
C2D 6600 2.4 Ghz. or 2.13 Ghz
2 Gig RAM OCZ 667
MSI 8600 GTS OC
Smilodon Case 5 Fan 1x12mm and 4X80mm
Stock 500W Power Supply +12 22A
Can the power suplly all these hardware or should I buy a new one because i want to keep the power suply to save more money. But what do you think??

yes your power supply can accomodate all your hardwares
Unfortunately your description doesn't state who makes your power supply that came with your case, but assuming it is a name brand and not a no name version, it should support everything you have listed here as long as you don't have more than 2 hard drives in addition to what is listed. If you want a recommendation for another 500watt power supply here is a link: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTool... . I build machines regularly and I have had very few defective thermaltake power supplies.
As long as you have an ATX power supply for an ATX motherboard, you should be fine. I would definetly not go over 500W. A 500w power supply seems like a bit of an overkill for that system. But to answer your question, it should work if your motherboard supports that type. (ATX or AT)
