Could you recommend me some books to read?
Im almost done with breaking dawn, and i loved the whole series so far.
I also liked Velocity, the uglies series, Ironside, and the white oleander (obviously i dont mind sexual intercourse in a book).
So could you reccomend me some fairly long romantic/suspenseful/fantasy/someaction books?
thanks :3

The Testament- Eric Van Lustbader
- A teacher let me borrow this and I loved it. It's very mature at parts, but if you can handle it, read it.
Inheritance Trilogy- Christopher Paolini
Dragon Bones- Patricia Briggs
Dragon Blood- Patricia Briggs

Fantasy:
Howls Moving Castle by Dianna Wynne Jones
His Dark Materials trilogy by Phillip Pullman

Book 2: The Subtle Knife
Book 3: The Amber Spyglass
The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
The Blue Bloods and Masquerade by Melissa De La Cruz
Poison by Chris Wooding
Beastly by Alex Flinn
Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine
Out of fashion a bit, but have you tried Joan Aitken? The series that starts with 'The Wolves of Willoughby Chase', and moves on to the Dido Twite books, obviously not the young children's 'Mortimer' books?
Although you could just go out and read some books that are just written to be read by people, rather than being 'targeted' at some publisher's concept of what is 'age-group' appropriate.
'Treasure Island' is hardly ever read by girls, which is a pity, 'Black Beauty' is hardly ever read by boys, which is a pity. Neither is read much by anyone, which is a tragedy.
If you haven't read Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" trilogy - the first is 'Northern Lights' in the UK, 'The Golden Compass' in the US, then do - the film missed out most of the interesting bits.
Maximum Ride series - James Patterson
Vampire Academy - Richelle Mead
A Countess Below Stairs - Eva Ibbotson
Gemma Doyle trilogy - Libba Bray
Vampire Diaries - L. J. Smith
I second the suggestions of "Hawksong" (Amelia Atwater-Rhodes) and "Wicked Lovely" (Melissa Marr) as well as WL's sequel, "Ink Exchange," which I liked even better.
Did you know "Ironside" has two other books in the same series? In fact, "Ironside" is the third one. "Tithe" and "Valiant" come first.
I have two urban fantasy series that I really love. The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher (first book is "Storm Front") is about a wizard in modern-day Chicago. Lots of action, suspense, and romance, and I love the detailed way he handles magic. His Codex Alera books are very good too (first book is "Furies of Calderon"), about a world where everyone has an elemental spirit bonded to them (air, fire, water, etc.).
My other favorite urban fantasy author is Patricia Briggs. Everything of hers is good but her best is the Mercy Thompson books (first is "Moon Called"). Mercy is a walker, meaning she can change into a coyote. There's also fae, vampires, and lots of werewolves in her life--all in modern-day Washington. Lots of romance (there are at least three guys in love with her, she cares about them all but has to choose one) and Mercy is a great heroine-- independent but not stupid about it, she knows when to back down. The duology "Dragon Bones" and "Dragon Blood" by the same author is also really great. If you don't fall in love with Oreg, there's something wrong with you. :)
Long and romantic: The outlander series by Diana Gabaldon
Parallel worlds: song for Arbonne by Guy Gavriel Kay. Also Tigana by the same author
From a different point of view: the Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley.
Any books by mercedes lackey are good.
Anne mccaffrey writes science fiction/fantasy books (although they are not hard science fiction)
robert jordens wheel of time books are extremely good
Terry goodkinds Sword of truth books are very involved, long books that tend to have some violence (read some really gory disgusting parts)
if you want more romantic type books, lynsay sands writes a really good series about modern vampires and maryjanice davidson writes a really funny series about Betsy the vampire queen
These are some really good books that I've read and thoroughly enjoyed:
-the Bartimaeus trilogy by Jonathan Stroud*****
-the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer*
-The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen(any book by her)
-Hawksong(series) by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes(any book by her)
-The Shannara series by Terry Brooks*****
-Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
-Watership Down by Richard Adams
-Great Expectations by Charles Dickens*
-Warrior Cats series by Erin Hunter
-The Counte of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas*
-The Princess Bride by William Goldman*
-Discworld series by Terry Pratchet*****
-Battle Royale by Roushun Takami*****
*s are the ones I really REALLY recommend for anyone to read, and the ones with five *s are the best books I've ever read in my life!!!!
