okay im 19 years old and me and my sister want to rent a condo. I never lived on my own and i will this fall im moving out. i think its better renting than buying a house. With renting a condo do i just pay for the down payments? i do not know anything i just know about renting places but as for paying....? What will i be paying for exactly when renting a condo. im renting one in miami, florida. and YES i can afford it..

it's a teeny weeny bit more complicated than just renting an apt [and usually nicer too]
you need get a copy of the unit owner's lease and a copy of the condo assn''s rules.
YOU will be paying a security deposit which helps the owner in case you fail to
pay your payments and he has to sue you.
you will be paying first mo rent. Some also try to charge a credit check fee. MOST
states don't allow that.
lastly--hopefully not confusing--some stuff owners or LLs or the one leasing,
puts stuff in the lease that is not legal. If you have doubts, contact any RE
broker in your city....or email me
luck to you
