A few friends and I are going to Las Vegas for EDC this year! We're very excited, it'll be our first time in Vegas! I had a reservation for Circus Circus, buuut I heard so many complaints/bad reviews about it that I decided to cancel it and get a reservation on Excalibur. I can't choose another hotel because we have a tight budget, and it wasn't too expensive. Is Excalibur teen friendly (We're all 18 years old) ? Is it nice? Does it have good service? I want to know what we're paying for lol.

Excalibur is in a much better location than Circus Circus of course, has a very good gym and a large, good swimming pool area and... a lively casino (not that you can be in it, being only 18... in fact, make sure someone over 21 checks in with you in each room and gives his/her credit card)
But: it smells awfully everywhere, it's notoriously not clean (I can't figure out every time I stay why it is so dirty everywhere, including the rooms) and their solution to the smell is to spray chemicals into the rooms just before you check in. Yuk.
Their basic rooms are the most uncomfortable I've been in when in Vegas, and their upgrade rooms are not much better. They have a flat screen TV, for example, but with not channels worth watching, extremely poor definition and I wonder why they put it there in the first place... But, having said that, hoping that you are assigned a decent, clean room (keep your fingers crossed), Excalibur will give you good value for money. Their resort fee is now huge (15 dollars) but at least it includes wi-fi, which some hotels don't include.
What can I say? If you can book it at a low rate, it's a definitely choice. Since you are very young and the first time in Vegas, you choose well. Otherwise I would recommend other, cheaper Off-Strip options with excellent connections to the Strip (free shuttles), but maybe not for a first-timer :)
Excalibur is an excellent choice. It is inexpensive but you get a bang for your buck. The location is excellent, right on the corner with 3 other major hotels. The rooms are fine and the service is like any of the other hotels on the strip. They have a nice pool and a very nice game room. You don't have to worry much since you will be out and about most of the day and night doing stuff.
Just make sure that an 18 year old can check in. Sometimes you have to be 21 and the credit card has to be in your name. And with more than 2 people in a room, they will charge you extra for extra guests above 2 staying in the room.
You can't reserve or check into a room at either of those places if you are under 21. The minimum age for check-in at most major Vegas resorts is 21 - at least one person in each room must be 21, and the room must be in their name.
The only strip hotel that allows you to check in at 18+ is Riviera. Off the strip, the LVH and the Golden Nugget allow 18+ check-in. Otherwise, you may find some hotels/motels farther out from the strip that will allow you to check in at 18.
In any case, Excalibur is far better than Circus Circus in most ways. It is more family and kid friendy than most other resorts. It's clean enough, but not one of the nicer hotels, and is starting to show its age.
Keep the Circus reservation Excalibur will not give 18 yr old a room
I even have not stayed there yet bypass to Vegas two times a 300 and sixty 5 days for the final 10 years. you somewhat do not spend lots time interior the room. The inn is effective so far as lodges bypass. it somewhat is infant orientated regardless of the undeniable fact that i'm able to assist you to already know that. it somewhat is probably the only infant orientated lodges left - there are human beings dressed up in Renaissance clothing doing magic tricks in the time of the inn. I even have not eaten there so i'm unable to assist you to already know with regard to the eating places. The Venetian is the place I frequently stay - you will desire to make it factor to bypass to confirm the gondola and the eating places are marvelous and positively hit the Aladdin for identifying to purchase. they have some great eating places there as nicely - not as high priced using fact something. Have a great holiday.
