Robert De Niro v Al Pacino?
They are both in my top 5 actors of all time I can't decide who I prefer both have been pretty poor recently but there old stuff Is brilliant talking about Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, once upon a time in america, Scarface, Carlitos way, Godfarther part 1 and 2, heat. Who is your favourite and what's there best performance?

It's close, but the nod goes to De Niro. You forget his work in Fockers movies and Analyze This/That... The man can do comedy and shows more range.
Scent of a Woman really MUST be mentioned here too though. Top 5 Pichino movie for sure.
Overall, Pacino - best performance as Richard Roma in Glengarry Glen Ross, or Dog Day Afternoon. Quite outstanding in Any Given Sunday and Scarface as well. I know he won the Oscar for Scent of a Woman, but that was funny in some places it shouldn't have been.
I would have to give the best perfomance of both actors to De Niro as Travis Bickle.. I just think that Pacino has been more consistent, even in duds like Devil's Advocate he seems to shine,
I also like De Niro in Cape Fear.
In my opinion Al Pacino but i'm a fan of both actors I just think Al has starred in better films.
