Ok so I went shopping earlier at Abercrombie and Fitch. I usually shop there, and As I was at the counter paying a sales rep asked me
"are you in the army or something what's with the awful looking dog tags?" I said no. She then said well. You should throw those away they look ugly and way to "urban" (what she meant by that I Have no idea) I said well they are my brothers who died in the army. That's why I wear them. Cause they remind me
Of him. She then said "well, he must have been An awful soldier if he got himself killed"
At her saying this, I told her return my money that I paid for the cloths. Left the bags and walked out. I feel the need to do something about this but what exactly should I do?
and how would I go about doing it?
This really ruined my day. This is the first day I actually tried to shop or do anything since my Boyfriend died 6 months ago and this really brought me down even more
Update:@allanas excuse me? I was pretty clear about it.
My Brother died who was a soldier. And I wear his dog tags cause I miss him.
And my boyfriend died 6 months ago. Why would you assume I am trolling.
I Hate ignorance and blind assumptions.

Oh my goodness!
That sounds like it was horrible :(
I would have a hard time restraining myself from punching that person in the face.
I probably would have done the same thing as you, or talked with a manager (and hopefully get that jerk fired)
There Is no excuse for this kind of rubbish.
I am so sorry you had to deal with that, I'll pray for you and I hope you can get through this hard time.
Ring and put a complaint in writing. I would expect at least an apology. Either he/she should be fired or at least re-trained. If you're on the service industry you can't say stuff like that.
dang you have bad luck if 2 people died.. sorry :/ but if you remember her name maybe you should write a letter to corporate
