i'm at 6 weeks now and i've got the usual. sickness, and no energy - need more sleep. but the thing is, it's got to a stage where the mere thought of putting food in my mouth makes me gag, and because i'm not holding any food down, i have no energy in between sleeps. so i'm struggling at work, taking time off more and more, and my son is getting bored at home because mommy has no energy to do anything decent with him to entertain him.
did anyone else have it this bad? at what point did you decide it was getting too much? did you go see your doc and did they do anything to help? i don't know how much more of this my body can take, i'm already starting to look quite gaunt and pale. help!!

I was so tired I was sleeping between doing haircuts at work! I couldn't even talk to my clients b/c I was concentrating soooo hard on their hair b/c I could barely keep myself going. I was also very nauseous. I found that smoothies were the only thing I could digest. But they tasted great and gave me the vitamins and energy.
The recipe is:
one cup yogurt (i like vanilla)
about 4 large strawberries (use any fruit except blueberries and kiwi they don't blend right)
ice or ice-cream depending on how creamy you want it.
and just a splash of milk if using ice.
Also my doctor said it was OK to use vitamin B6 but I didn't think it helped at all.
Tell your doc, the dehydration is dragging you even more, my neighbor is having the exact same problem you are. They put an IV in her arm to hydrate her and she is feeling better. The doctor is going to tell you that this is all apart of being prego, and you are probably going to want to take a mallet and hit him in the head. good luck hope it gets better and FAST
I've heard vitamin b can help with the sickness and with the energy level. But check with your doctor.
Unfortunatley, you just have to wait it out. I hated that point in my pregnancy.
Try to get your husband to help more.
Good luck.
