How do I get from SFO to Santa Cruz? I've read all the websites, tried to call The Santa Cruz Airporter (busy/no answer), I'm totally confused. I don't mind buses but can't do all the transfers. Greyhound only stops from SF proper. Anybody with real world experience?? Does the Santa Cruz Airporter have a SET schedule? Thanks!!

This may not be of much help if you are already booked on a flight to SFO, but it is much easier to get to Santa Cruz from SJC (San Jose Airport).
A good option from there is a taxi to Amtrak station (very short ride), and Amtrak bus.
If there is a way to get down to San Jose from SFO,
that might work.
Years ago Greyhound did pick up at SFO,
but I guess they discontinued that.
I took the Santa Cruz Airporter from San Jose once,
and the van was not in very good condition and they
made sure every seat was filled. I was not very
impressed.
Here are directions from UC Santa Cruz:

(also has San Jose and driving directions)
To get from SFO to Santa Cruz via public transportation, take BART from the SFO BART Station to the Millbrae BART Station ($1.50 for a one-way ticket). Transfer to Caltrain, and go Southbound to San Jose Diridon Station ($5 for a one-way ticket). Take the Highway 17 Express from Diridon Station to the Santa Cruz Metro Center ($4 for a one-way ticket).
(Yes that's a lot of transfers).
