To all star trek fans out their. I think that voyager and the next generation are on a class of their own. Deep space nine and enterprise are an insult to star trek. I also think a remake would do star trek no favours. Are their any other fans out their that agree. Star trek fans have an impression of being nerds. If you like the original series, deep space nine or enterprise you really are. Voyager and the next genertaion are the only real star treks. Also the only good movies are the four which are based on the next generation.

What exactly is the question?
I love The Next Generation. I also like the first one. Without it, the rest probably wouldn't have been made. It only had 3 seasons, a total of 79 episodes but has had the most spin offs. I don't think people should say that a couple of spin offs are the only real Star Treks without giving props to the original. After all, the others are only Spin offs. I think the original Star Trek did very well and was pretty good for it being made in 1966 when SFX weren't as good as today. It shows how much they put into the creation of it.
And as much as I love Captain Jean-Luc Picard, I have to give props to Captain James T. Kirk, The inter-galatic pimp himself. I really do like the actors who starred in the Original. Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley, James Doohan, George Takei..Ooh My...
BTW!!!
You forgot Star Trek: The Animated Series. Which only had 2 seasons, with a total of 22 episodes. Which came a couple or so years after the original.
Well, I disagree with you entirely.
The first series was the awesome progenitor of the rest. If anything is the only 'real' Star Trek, this is it.
TNG was very good.
Voyager started out great, but the last two seasons were an insult to Star Trek, the fans, and to the actors playing the parts. Seriously. Almost every episode was like, Crew #1 "We must help these people, captain!" Crew #2 "No, no, it's against the prime directive!" Captain, in bored, automatic voice, "I am forced to agree with crewman # (random choice.)" And the rest of the episodes were about the doctor trying to be human.
Deep Space Nine was my favorite spinoff, actually.
Enterprise was so bad I couldn't even watch it.
And I thought that EVERY movie was great except the first.
This is not a question but I'll shoot some holes through your tirade if truly necessary.
First The original series is the "ONLY REAL STAR TREK", all other series that followed are spin-offs, regardless of their quality.
Secondly, Star Trek IV(4): The Voyage Home is not based on The Next Generation, it is an original series movie just like the three movies that came before it and the two that followed it. Generations was the first movie that involved The Next Generation in any capacity.
Had enough?
Voyager is my favorite mainly because that's the one I grew up watching. I also like TNG, DS9, and Enterprise. I haven't really watched the original much. I think all the movies are good but my favorite is Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. It seems like a lot of people didn't like Enterprise.
DS9 is good if boring at times thanks to restricted environments, Voyager is good, TNG is excellent as is original series. Enterprise never happened and basing a movie reboot on time-travel is a bad choice. The movies which feature NG are... bad. Only really good Star Trek movie is Wrath of Khan.
I have watched every star trek show from the 60s till now ,they all have some good and some bad, but i like them all ..the last movie they made was better than any generation movie .although i like them
followers of certain kinds of issues/each individual is mocked at the same time as they get a lot "into" something that they develop into obsessed. This preoccupation motives them to develop into out of contact with the "authentic" international. at the same time as it would want to no longer be obvious to them, it really is to others that the line between the television educate and reality has develop into blurred, and they are residing in a man made international. also, at the same time as someone will develop into obsessed on one element, they have a tendency to allow their visual allure and ecosystem pass. This overlook sends a message to others that they are outstanding, and they are prevented. It changed into reported at a celebrity Trek convention that even William Shatner (Capt. Kirk) changed into so alarmed on the obsession of various the followers that he informed them they needed to "get a life!"
You lie. This is not a question.
