mocha is chocolate flavor in coffee (often with steamed milk)
Check out this link it shows the Starbucks specialties. Look to the right side of the page to select the different coffees.
The java chip frap has a coffee base, one that is caffeinated, and is thick. Double chocolate chip is a creme base, no caffeine, and thick but less than java chip. I personally like Double chocolate chip, although ask them for one without the chips, it tastes like heaven. Mocha is just chocolate syrup, and although you can get Hersheys or Dove, Starbucks has the best chocolate syrup I have ever tasted
java chip frappuchinos are with coffe base(caffinated) (there is also decaf coffee base, and double chocolate chips are with creme base (caffine free)
mocha as in the hot of iced drink? its chocolate syrup espresso, milk and whipped cream.
if you are asking what mocha is in general, its chocolate
