I would like to start cooking butI am not experienced or skilled at all. I would like to start with something really easy, something that doesn't take very long. It can be regular food or dessert food. Any suggestion? Thanks :)

Try making pasta sauce. Its really easy, not even my little sister can mess it up.
Ingredients:
2 cans tomato paste
4 cans tomato puree
basil (dried works well)
garlic
olive oil
Directions:
Turn stove to medium low, and put a big pot on it. Put enough olive oil in it to cover the bottom, and add a little spoonful of garlic. Stir this around on the bottom for about 2 minutes, and then add the tomato paste. Once this is stirred in, add the tomato puree and water(half a tomato puree can full). Add a handful of dried basil, and stir it every 5-10 minutes. Keep doing this until dinnertime and serve it with pasta.
Spaghetti!!
Boil spaghetti noodles till they are cooked thoroughly, tender
Open a jar of sauce (I make my own because i'm so picky, but a jar sauce is quick & easy), pour it in a pot & heat it up
In a pan brown sound ground beef then drain the fat when finished
Pour the beef in with the sauce & mix up
Get a box of garlic bread & read the directions for time & temps to bake it, only takes like 5 minutes to cook the bread
A salad is a good compliment as well
Good luck!!
Fast Pepper Steak
1.) beef cubes/stew meat OR stir fry strips--cut them in half & drain meat as liquid builds up in pan. I use the electric skillet. (Amount of meat depends on number of people to feed--for 3 people I use 2 packages about a pound each. This gives leftovers for lunch the next day. Good estimate is a half pound meat per person.) **IF you want, you can season the meat with salt & pepper, Lawry's, whatever Asian spices or beef spices you might have.
2.) Green peppers & onion sliced--about size of half dollar
3.) Brown meat, onion & green pepper.
4.) Start rice as you brown meat (I do 2 cups for 3 people--I use Minute Rice in the microwave--takes 8 minutes)
5.) Can of beef bouillon broth with 3 to 4 tablespoons cornstarch. (I put it in a round ziploc plastic container-starting with the cornstarch and about 1/3 of the bouillon broth. Put the lid on & shake it up. Add rest of bouillon broth.)
6.) Add about 4 tablespoons of soy sauce to bouillon mix. Reshake. The amount of soy sauce depends how dark of a sauce you want or how salty you want it to taste.
7.) When meat is done & drained for last time, turn heat down to just above simmer, add bouillon broth mix stirring as it thickens.
8.) Serve with rice.
Start to finish: about 40 minutes. (My family doesn't like the green pepper & onion so it only takes 25 minutes to make.) Quick, easy, good meal that people think you spent an hour or more making. I used to use round steak and cut it up myself but it was taking about an hour to make (time I didn't have) so I short-cutted the recipe and gained time for myself. Also, doing it this way, there are only 4 dishes to use to prepare the food plus whatever you serve it on.
Pop corn and carmel.
Put the sugar in the pan
and when it is melted put
the butter in only like a inch of
it. then pour it on the pop corn.
Put the surface heat on the number
5.
Pancakes! yum. If you want more practice with cooking then make them from scratch rather than using a mix.
go to a grocery store and head for the baking aisle, all i need to do is read and measure
