So I recently got an old but still working Super Nintendo from my Grandma...
But I realized today she forgot to include the 10V DC adapter I need for it, which means I either have to find a generic replacement or buy one on ebay specifically for the Super Nintendo.
I was wondering if it would be bad to got out and find a 10V adapter and use that, or if I should buy one specifically for the Nintendo. I don't know whether a generic one would damage it or not.
Opinions?

Hi there. To answer your question would be, yes. You can use a generic universal power adapter as long as it's the proper voltage. If you can't find one of course they sell them at Radio Shack, Best Buy or whatever electronics store you prefer. If you want the best deal you can probably get them for $5.00 online from Ebay or Amazon, but if you have one laying around and everything fits your A okay.
