Have you played Melee? GH3? That will help you make your decision as Brawl and GHA are pretty much the same as their predecessors.
If it was me, I'd get Brawl (in fact I did). But both can provide many hours of entertainment, so it's down to your preference. Keep in mind that if you do get Brawl, you may have to send your wii off to Nintendo for a (free) repair to get the game to load.
They are both very different games. Guitar Hero, you can easily tire of, while Smash Bros. will certainly keep you entertained by its abundance of unlockables and things to do. Smash Bros. is essentially, a fighting game. It's quite fun, and great to play with a group of friends. With its assortment of characters, modes, and things to do, it will surely keep you all entertained for quite some time. Guitar Hero, is a music simulation game. While it's fun, and often challenging, it doesn't provide much to do, after you have beaten, besides replay the same exact songs over and over. But then again, Aerosmith is pretty cool, so... It depends. In my opinion the much better choice would be to pick up Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It never seems to be exactly the same each time you play it. Especially with friends. Also, it's not a fighting game that you have to be good at to win. What I mean is, there is always the element of luck that comes into the game each time you play it.... But, before I rant about how cool the game is, I'm gonna quit. Honestly, I think you should go to youtube, and look up videos of gameplay from each, and decide which one looks more entertaining and enjoyable to you. Concerning the Smash Bros. control issue: It's all personal preference. I myself, go back and forth between using the classic controller and the Gamecube controller. I personally don't use the wii remote with or without the nunchuck. It's not what I'm used to and I didn't give it a chance, but my friends did, and they excel at using it, and beat me. So, it's only a matter of preference. But the classic controller is a good buy in my opinion because it can also be used for other games, and Virtual Console games.
i personally think brawl is better if you know how to play a real guitar and have one then dont get guitar hero if you suck at guitar hero then dont get it i tried it and it gets boring if u can only do easy and super smash bros is fun in everry way

Guitar hero aerosmith ALL THE WAY! Super smash bros brawl i got bored of playing in like a week!!!
Depends on the type of person you are.
I like both types. Guitar hero was played for hours days, weeks, and months to where brawl was played only for hours then days.
But if you have a group of people then brawl for sure. With a group you can still only have two going at it. then take turns.
