I workout my arms/shoulders/abs regularly 4 times a week but I don't use any supplements (protein shakes, and all that other stuff). Do they have any side effects?
Do we HAVE to use them? I get protein and carbs from my diet but I don't want to use any supplements.. is that ok?

you dont have to use supplements some do have side effects it depends on what your takeing some are all natural like many whey protiens which is just dehydrated made from milk, soy, or eggs ment to increase your protien intake without needing to eat as much but as long as your on a high protien diet it is not needed it manly the energy boosters and muscle gainers that tend to have side effects because many are not all natural or have high amounts of sugar or caffine and other ingredients that are unhealthy in high doses
No, you don't have to take them. I work out without any supplements.
