tarrot cards experiences
i was out with my friends the other day and i had my tarot cards read. i was told i would have a child within 3 years. this is worrying because I'm only 16. what are other peoples experiences of tarot cards and there accuracy?

I was playing poker with tarot cards the other night. I got a full house and four people died (Thank you Steven Wright).
I did an experiment a few years ago. Everyday I had my cards read. I kept a journal of the readings and noted when anything happened that was "predicted" with a scoring system of 1-5. 5-being on the nose. Out of 365 readings, monitoring over a two year period, the total score was 127. I wouldn't say there was much accuracy there.
The Tarot reader was remarkably irresponsible and probably inaccurate. Don't pay it any mind and don't make it a "self-fulfilling prophecy." I can read Tarot cards--sometimes very well--and this is what I have to say: A person CANNOT predict your future. They may be able to intuit things about your past or present. They may even make educated guesses about what might happen to you in the future based on what they figure out about your past and present --that is, they may have insight into the cause-effect momentum of certain aspects of your lifeand make guesses about what *might* happen, but they cannot definitively tell you about what has not happened yet. Your own behavior based on the past and present determines the future. So always be mindful of your present behavior and circumstances. The future is merely the reaction or consequence of the present action.
What the cards say is not set in stone. Personally, I believe you make your own future, and the cards are merely tools to show what could possibly happen if you don't choose your actions carefully. If your careful and take the proper precautions when you have sex, you'll more than likely emerge child free in the next three years. Not that I'm encouraging you to have sex, but being only 17 myself, I understand that as teenagers we sometimes can't really help ourselves. Just be careful and you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
Well you stand a 50/50 chance. Either you will or wont have a baby in 3 years. :) YOU can decide that, not cards. The bible says to avoid anythign regarding fortune tellers.
