After the death of her mother, she was the Lady Elizabeth, and so she was styled until her accession.

Mary I was the Princess Mary at birth. There were some references to her as Princess of Wales, but she was never formally invested with that title. Once her parents' marriage was declared invalid, the became the Lady Mary, and so she remained until her accession.
