I found it kind of uncomfortable, but it was just momentary. The ultrasound technician will use a lubricant to help it be less painful. The probe will be inserted into your vagina and moved around some to get the best view of whatever is being examined.

Feel free to speak up and tell the technician that you are nervous and if it is hurting during the ultrasound, let him/her know. Remember to take some deep breaths and don't be afraid to ask questions before the procedure.
