I HAVE triamcinolone acetonide dental paste usp 0.1% BUT THE SORE I HAVE IT ON IS OUTSIDE THE LIP. ON THE UPPER LIP. WHERE DO I PUT IT?

i understand that it goes INSIDE the mouth. BUT i have the sore on my upper lip outside! so where do i point this cream? PLEASE HELP IM IN NEED
